Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to anyone who uses this website. Last updated August 2026.
Acceptance of These Terms
These terms form an agreement between MyACAPolicy and every visitor who opens this website, submits a form on it, or creates a signup through it. Using the website means these terms have been accepted as written. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the website.
Continued use after a revision has been posted counts as acceptance of the revised version.
What This Website Is
MyACAPolicy provides general information and guidance about health coverage available through the Affordable Care Act Marketplace, along with a way to submit household details so that guidance can be given in context.
This website is not the Marketplace, not a government agency, and not an insurance company. No page here completes an enrollment, issues a policy, binds coverage, or guarantees that any plan, price or amount of financial help will be available to a given household. Enrollment happens through the Marketplace or an insurer, and those organizations set their own terms.
Who May Use This Website
- Use of this website is limited to residents of the United States who are at least eighteen years of age.
- Anyone submitting details for another member of a household must have that person's permission to do so.
- Details about a minor may be submitted only by a parent or legal guardian of that minor.
- Access may be refused where these conditions are not met.
Signup and Account Security
Creating a signup means taking responsibility for the password chosen and for everything done through that signup. Passwords should not be shared, and any sign that a signup has been used by someone else should be reported through the contact page without delay.
MyACAPolicy may suspend or close a signup that appears to be abandoned, misused, or created with details that are not genuine.
Accuracy of Submitted Information
Guidance given through this website is only as good as the information it rests on. Household size, expected income, coverage offered through a job and the dates of any life change all shape the answer, and an incorrect detail can change that answer completely.
Everyone using this website is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what they submit, and for correcting anything that turns out to be wrong or that changes later.
Communications and Message Consent
Submitting a phone number or email address on this website permits MyACAPolicy to respond through those channels about the request that was made. Text message consent given on the signup page is separate, and it is never a condition of receiving information or guidance.
- Message frequency varies with the nature of the request.
- Standard message and data rates set by a mobile carrier may apply.
- Replying STOP to a text message ends further text messages.
- Replying HELP to a text message returns support information.
- Withdrawing text consent does not withdraw consent to email replies, and the reverse is also true.
Acceptable Use
This website is offered for personal, lawful use in connection with health coverage questions. The following are prohibited:
- Submitting false, misleading or stolen information, or impersonating another person.
- Attempting to gain access to any part of the website, its data or its systems without authorization.
- Interfering with the operation of the website, including through automated scraping, flooding of forms, or the introduction of harmful code.
- Copying content from this website for commercial use, or republishing it as original work.
- Using the website to distribute advertising, solicitations or unrelated commercial messages.
Ownership of Content
The text, layout, images, graphics, code and arrangement of this website belong to MyACAPolicy or are used with permission, and they are protected by the laws that cover such material. Names of insurance companies, government programs and other organizations that appear on this website belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what they refer to.
Nothing on this website grants a licence to reuse that material beyond ordinary personal reading.
Links to Other Websites
This website may point to government resources, insurer websites, plan directories or drug lists as a convenience. Those destinations are run by other organizations, and MyACAPolicy has no control over their content, their accuracy or the way they handle personal information. Visiting them is done at the visitor's own risk and under their own terms.
No Medical, Legal or Tax Advice
Nothing on this website is medical advice, legal advice or tax advice, and nothing here replaces a conversation with a doctor, an attorney or a tax professional. Questions about treatment belong with a clinician. Questions about how coverage or financial help affects a tax return belong with whoever prepares that return.
This website is also not a place to report a medical emergency. Anyone facing one should use local emergency services.
Information Provided As Is
The content of this website is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether stated outright or implied. No promise is made that the website will be uninterrupted, free of error, or current at every moment.
Plan availability, network membership, drug lists, premium amounts and financial help rules change, and they are set by insurers, regulators and the Marketplace rather than by MyACAPolicy. Anything described here should be confirmed against the official plan documents before a decision is made.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MyACAPolicy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising out of the use of this website, including lost savings, missed deadlines, denied claims, gaps in coverage, or amounts owed at tax time.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount, if any, paid to MyACAPolicy for the service that gave rise to the claim.
Indemnification
Anyone who uses this website agrees to hold MyACAPolicy harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs that arise out of their own breach of these terms, their misuse of the website, or information they submitted that was inaccurate or that they had no right to submit.
Disputes and Arbitration
Disputes relating to this website or to these terms are to be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either side may bring a matter in small claims court where it qualifies. Claims are to be brought individually, not as part of a class action or a representative proceeding.
Before arbitration begins, a written description of the dispute should be sent through the contact details on this website so that a resolution can be attempted directly.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised as the website changes or as rules change. The revised version takes effect once it appears on this page, and the date shown near the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Reviewing this page from time to time is the best way to stay current.
Suspension and Termination
Access to this website, or to a signup created on it, may be limited or withdrawn where these terms have been broken, where the security of the website is at risk, or where the law requires it. Sections covering ownership of content, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute resolution continue to apply after access ends.
Governing Law and Severability
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma and the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to rules that would apply the law of another place. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is to be limited only as far as needed, and the rest remains in force.
